Head coach
of the Super Eagles Stephen Keshi has laid down the marker by stating
unequivocally the criteria for selection of players into the senior national
team ahead of the world cup in Brazil.
Keshi told brilafm.net that only players who
are willing to play for him will make the cut. Keshi stressed that it won't be
about names going to the world cup but more on performance during training
sessions.
"It's not about name, who is ready to
play; that's what I want Nigerians to understand, it's not name; no. Who is
ready to give everything in the training sessions 110 percent will be picked
and the coach is bound to use him, which is what we're talking about."
Keshi stated.
