A key Boko
Haram leader, Baana Fanay has been arrested on Sunday in N’djamena according to
Chadian Public Prosecutor, Alghassim Khamis. He is said to have been arrested
after a fierce resistance in company of two other terrorists.
Banna Fanay
was in charge of purchase and trafficking of weapons. He also recruited
fighters in Nigeria, Cameroon and Chad.
A search in
the suspect’s house led to the seizure of different weapons and documents
written in Arabic by Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau. A man said to be a
financier of the group was also arrested. Such a good one.
